Harlem Sprouts (drop-off, in person)
Consider our early childhood separation program your child's first opportunity to independently participate in creating community. Our model is an intentionally mixed-age one, focusing on play-based learning which encourages exploration, curiosity, and self-discovery. Our experienced teachers will guide your family through a healthy, gentle separation process by establishing a safe and nurturing classroom experience. Curated work stations, facilitated transitions, community meetings, small group work and engaging provocations are some of the ways we develop our classroom community identity.
We are working closely with our colleagues at JCC Manhattan under the guidance of the NYC Depart of Health to ensure the highest standards of safety protocols for your children and for our staff. If you are interested in inquiring about or joining our Harlem Sprouts program, please be in touch at harlemsprouts@jccharlem.org.
